This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Breast feeding

Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Avoid prolonged use of Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.

Driving

UNSAFE

Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Usually, Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup is considered safe to use in children with mild to moderate kidney disease. Dose modifications may be required in children with severe kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION

Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aurasef 50 Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Aurasef Oral Suspension?

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Skip the missed dose if it’s almost time for the next dose. Follow the prescribed dosing schedule and do not give the double dose to catch up.
