- You have been prescribed Besix Eye Drop for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the medication.
- Do not touch the tip to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contamination.
- Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.

Q. How many times should I apply Besix Eye Drop in a day?
Ideally, you should use the drops regularly, 3 times a day for 7 days or as prescribed by your doctor.

Besix Eye Drop starts working as early as 3 days. The itching and discharge (if any) are the first ones to get better. Pain and soreness may take a little longer to resolve, as long as 7 days. But, if it takes longer, or if your symptoms do not subside or get worse, please consult your doctor immediately.

Wash your hands thoroughly prior to using Besix Eye Drop. Invert closed bottle (upside down) and shake once before each use. Remove cap with bottle still in the inverted position. Tilt head back, and with bottle inverted, gently squeeze bottle to instill one drop into the affected eye(s). Close your eyes for at least 2-3 minutes so that the medicine does not drain out of the eye(s).
Q. Can I use Besix Eye Drop with contact lenses?
No, you should remove your contact lenses before instilling Besix Eye Drop. You can re-insert the lens 15 minutes after using Besix Eye Drop. Contact your doctor if there is any eye irritation that persists.
Q. Can I use any other eye drop along with Besix Eye Drop?
Always consult your doctor before using any other eye drops along with Besix Eye Drop. It is advisable to give a gap of atleast 10-15 minutes between the two medications.
