This causes large bursts of breath followed by periods of shallow breathing or stopped breathing. This is called apnea or breathing trouble of prematurity. Cafneon 20mg/ml Injection helps to stimulate those areas of the brain that control breathing and normalise it. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse.
