Flopace 250mg Injection is a type of medicine known as an anticoagulant. Although it does not “dissolve” blood clots, it can prevent them from getting bigger so your body can dissolve them over time. It will also prevent new ones from forming. It works by blocking a substance in the body which is involved in blood clotting. This keeps your blood flowing freely around your body and makes it less likely that a clot will form inside a blood vessel.

This can help prevent or reduce damage caused by stroke, clots in your lungs (pulmonary embolism) or other blood vessels (thrombosis). It can also make it less likely that parts of a clot will break off and travel to other parts of the body. It is given as an infusion (drip) into a vein under the supervision of a doctor. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes to help this medicine be effective.

I was pregnant in January. I was feeling all symptoms of being pregnant. When I was undergone SCG test, It was negative. Even my blood report also shows absence of HCG. As I am feeling pregnancy symptoms, I continued to do HCG tests for 3 .5months. During this tenure, I had almost no monthly periods.(only sometimes spots seen). I consulted Gynaecologist for this problems. I had undergone sonography test two times. It was showing some blood clots. Doctor suggested to do Anti Mullerian hormone test for uneven/ stopped period for long time. He also gave tablets for period which was consumed by me and I had period for four days in first week of April. AMH test showed worrying result. It was showing value- 0.7. A lower normal range is 0.7 to .0.9. Doctor suggested to complete three month course of OVARUS (75mg) tables. Is there any worries about lower AMH ? What is the reason for this problem? I have thyroid problem and I am taking Eltroxine 100mg since last 7 years.

But long-term use of Flopace 250mg Injection may increase the chances of mild liver injury in patients with elevated liver enzymes. It is advised that you inform your doctor if you have a history of liver disease before starting this medicine.

Q. Can I drink alcohol with Flopace 250mg Injection?

Taking alcohol while taking Flopace 250mg Injection can increase the blood-thinning effect of this medicine, thereby increasing the chance of bleeding. Regular intake of alcohol can lead to a gastric ulcer which might again cause bleeding. So, it is better to avoid alcohol while you are taking this medicine. Q. Who should not take Flopace 250mg Injection?

People experiencing any unusual bleeding or people allergic to Flopace 250mg Injection should not take it. Flopace 250mg Injection should also be avoided by people with artificial (prosthetic) heart valves. Therefore, inform your doctor if you have ever had or plan to have a valve in your heart replaced. Also, the use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
