Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of medicine used in the treatment of nausea and vomiting. It also relieves symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain, or irritation by reducing the production of acid in the stomach.

Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet1 and Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet2.

Benefits of Gendon-O Tablet

In Nausea

Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or cancer treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from cancer treatments such as radiation therapy or chemotherapy. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed.

Side effects of Gendon-O Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet may cause dizziness and visual disturbances. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet is recommended.
Liver
CAUTION
Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
A lower dose may be advised in patients with liver disease and who have to take this medicine for a long time.

What if you forget to take Gendon-O Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Gendon-O 4mg/20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
