Uses of Ifowem Injection

In Cancer
Ifowem 2gm Injection Combipack is a combination of two medicines Ifomaside and Mesna. It is used to treat various cancers such as testicular cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, cancer of the ovaries (cancer that begins in the female reproductive organs where eggs are formed), cancer of the cervix, and cancer that forms in muscles and bones. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Mesna present in Ifowem 2gm Injection Combipack reduces the risk of inflammation and bleeding of the bladder which is a very serious side effect of treatment with Ifosfamide. Drink at least 1-2 litres of water every 24 hours during the treatment process to stay hydrated.

- Ifowem 2gm Injection Combipack is used for the treatment of various types of cancer.
- Before taking Ifowem 2gm Injection Combipack, make sure you tell your doctor about any other medications you are taking (including prescription, over-the-counter, vitamins, herbal remedies, etc.).
- After starting your treatment with this medicine, you may be at risk of infection so try to avoid crowds or people with colds, and report fever or any other signs of infection immediately to your doctor.
- Drink at least two to three quarts of fluid every 24 hours, unless you are instructed otherwise.
