This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Imosec M Tablet
- You have been prescribed Imosec M 2mg/125mg Tablet for the treatment of diarrhea.
- Diarrhea can cause water loss and electrolyte imbalance. Drink plenty of fluids especially ORS (oral rehydration solution) to help keep you hydrated.
- Do not use Imosec M 2mg/125mg Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated.
- Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food until you recover completely.
- It is best to avoid drinking alcohol while taking and till 4 days after taking this medication. This is because drinking alcohol with Imosec M 2mg/125mg Tablet is likely to make you feel very sick (nauseated) and cause other unpleasant effects, such as hot flushes, headaches.
- Consult your doctor if your diarrhea lasts for more than 48 hours.
