It also helps in the elimination of toxic materials such as urea from the kidneys and improves kidney function. Most commonly, Ketoadd Tablet is used as a nutritional supplement in long-term kidney disease. Ketoadd Tablet is also given during heart surgery to reduce the chances of complications. It is also reported to be rarely used along with physiotherapy in the treatment of pain in tendons. It may also be used in treating intestinal and stomach disorders, lung diseases, and as an add-on treatment in bacterial infections, but very rarely.
