In Treatment of Fever

This medicine works for high body temperature as well. Paracetamol, which is another active ingredient along with Aceclofenac, lowers down the body temperature of your child by blocking the chemical messengers in the brain responsible for signaling a rise in body temperature.

In Pain relief

Kv P Oral Suspension is used for short-term relief of pain, inflammation, and swelling in conditions that affect joints and muscles. Some of the conditions in which Kv P Oral Suspension is used are rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. Take it as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. Do not take more or longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. This will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

Side effects of Kv P Oral Suspension in children

Kv P Oral Suspension does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. How can I give Kv P Oral Suspension to my child?

Liver
CAUTION
Kv P Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Kv P Oral Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Discuss with your doctor thoroughly before giving Kv P Oral Suspension to your child. Regular monitoring of liver function tests (LFT) is recommended while your child is taking this medicine.

What if I forget to give Kv P Oral Suspension to my child?

Do not panic. Unless your doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you may give the missed dose if it’s not more than 12 hours late. If it is almost time for the next dose, do not give a double dose and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.

No, it is not recommended to alter the dose of the medicine without consulting a doctor. While increasing the dose without proper judgment may lead to toxicity, decreasing it may cause recurrence of symptoms. So, for best results, speak to your child’s doctor if you feel a change in dose may be needed.

No. Kv P Oral Suspension cannot be given to everyone in the same dose. The doctor decides the appropriate dose of Kv P Oral Suspension based on the child’s age and body weight. However, if your child continues to feel unwell even after completion of the full prescribed course of the medicine, consult your child’s doctor as soon as possible.

Although Kv P Oral Suspension is well-tolerated by children, if you notice your child experiencing any intolerable episodes like persistent vomiting, body swelling, decreased urine frequency, or serious allergic reaction, rush to your doctor on an immediate basis.

Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Kv P Oral Suspension?

The use of Kv P Oral Suspension is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). It should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active, recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure, and liver or kidney disease.
