Lynor 600 Tablet works by killing bacteria which can cause serious infections. It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as infections of lungs (pneumonia), skin, and soft tissues. This medicine usually makes you feel better very quickly but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Side effects of Lynor 600 Tablet in children

Lynor 600 Tablet does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child’s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-

How can I give Lynor 600 Tablet to my child?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lynor 600 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Lynor 600 Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Lynor 600 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lynor 600 Tablet is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION

Lynor 600 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lynor 600 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Lynor 600 Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

What if I forget to give Lynor 600 Tablet to my child?

If you miss a dose of Lynor 600 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Q. What foods should I avoid while taking Lynor 600 Tablet?

You should avoid taking large quantities of food that contain high tyramine in it. Foods that are fermented, cured, aged or spoiled contain high amount of tyramine e.g cheese, red wine, pickle, over ripe fruits etc. Consuming tyramine while taking Lynor 600 Tablet can result in elevation of blood pressure, which may result in an emergency situation.
