It helps the body to utilise the hormone insulin and also regulates menstrual cycles. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

Use of Mio Met Colo Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

Liver

CAUTION

Mio Met Colo Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mio Met Colo Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mio Met Colo Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Mio Met Colo Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Mio Met Colo Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
