Ocan Mouth Paint is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. The medicine must be used as the label or suggested by the doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be applied only to the affected areas of the mouth such as gums, inner cheeks and lips, or tongue with clean and dry hands. The medicine must not be swallowed and should be rinsed out after the application. If it gets into your eyes, nose, or vagina rinse with water immediately. How Ocan Mouth Paint works
Ocan Mouth Paint is a combination of three medicines: Clotrimazole, Beclometasone and Choline Salicylate. Clotrimazole is an antifungal. It works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause mouth infections. Beclometasone is a steroid and Choline Salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Both work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain, redness and swelling in the mouth.
