How to use Osrovas-AM Tablet

Breast feeding

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Osrovas-AM Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

UNSAFE

Osrovas-AM Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Osrovas-AM Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Osrovas-AM Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Osrovas-AM Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION

Osrovas-AM Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Osrovas-AM Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Osrovas-AM Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you forget to take Osrovas-AM Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Osrovas-AM Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Osrovas-AM Tablet

Take it at same time every day to maintain the consistent level of drug in the body.
Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
It can make you feel dizzy for the first few days. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how Osrovas-AM Tablet affects you.
Your doctor may check your liver function before starting the treatment and regularly thereafter. Inform your doctor if you notice signs of liver problems such as stomach pains, unusually dark urine or yellowing of skin or eyes.
Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver disease or diabetes before starting treatment with this medicine. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood sugar level regularly as Osrovas-AM Tablet may cause an increase in your blood sugar level.
