Ovalife Met Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in regulating hormonal imbalance as well as periods in females. It helps the body to utilise the hormone insulin and also regulates menstrual cycles. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

Use of Ovalife Met Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

Liver

CAUTION

Ovalife Met Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ovalife Met Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Ovalife Met Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Ovalife Met Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Ovalife Met Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

An upset stomach with nausea and diarrhea may occur initially. Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
