How Sispas Tablet works
Sispas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Magnesium Trisilicate and Mefenamic Acid which relieve abdominal pain. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic. It works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions, thereby relieving cramps and pain. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking certain chemical messengers that cause pain, but may damage the stomach lining.
