Introduction of Sucon Tablet

SUCON TABLET is used in the treatment of common cold symptoms like runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also helps in relieving pain and fever.

SUCON TABLET is a combination of first generation H1 antihistaminic, paracetamol, and sympathomimetic agonist medicines.

SUCON TABLET is a combination medicine that effectively relieves symptoms of the common cold, such as a blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and congestion or stuffiness. It helps loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. It also shrinks the blood vessels and provides rapid relief that lasts for several hours. These actions make breathing easier.

SUCON TABLET is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes, and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop using it unless you are advised otherwise.

Side effects of Sucon Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Driving
UNSAFE
SUCON TABLET may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
SUCON TABLET is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of SUCON TABLET may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Use of SUCON TABLET may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
SUCON TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of SUCON TABLET may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of SUCON TABLET is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

Sucon Tablet

  • SUCON TABLET is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold.
  • Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
  • Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
  • Along with taking SUCON TABLET do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
    1. Steam inhalation.
    2. Gargling with warm saltwater.
    3. Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.
    4. Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.
    5. Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
