Introduction of Teleact St Tablet

Teleact St 40 Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to treat high blood pressure with high cholesterol levels. Lowering the blood pressure helps in preventing future heart attack and stroke.

Teleact St 40 Tablet is a combination of lipid lowering and antihypertensive medicines.

Side effects of Teleact St Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Teleact St Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Teleact St 40 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Teleact St 40 Tablet.
Pregnancy
UNSAFE
Teleact St 40 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Teleact St 40 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Teleact St 40 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Teleact St 40 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Teleact St 40 Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Teleact St 40 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Teleact St 40 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Teleact St 40 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you forget to take Teleact St Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Teleact St 40 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
