Uses of Tenvir Tablet
Benefits of Tenvir Tablet
In Treatment of Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection
Chronic hepatitis B virus infection is a serious liver infection that has been there for at least 6 months and is still not cured. Tenvir Tablet helps treat this infection effectively. It lowers the chances of complications, such as new infections, and improves one’s quality of life. If this infection is not treated, it can lead to severe liver damage, which can cause other life-threatening problems, such as liver failure, or may be fatal also.
In Treatment of HIV infection
Tenvir Tablet, when used in combination with other anti-HIV medicines, prevents the HIV virus from multiplying in your body. It helps control the infection and makes your immune system work better. This lowers your chances of getting complications such as new infections and improves your quality of life. This medicine is always taken in combination with other antiretroviral medicines.
It is not a cure of HIV or AIDS and should not be used to prevent HIV after accidental exposure to a risk. It is important that you take this medicine as prescribed, following the dosage recommended by your doctor. Taking all doses in the right amount at the right times greatly increases the effectiveness of your combination of medicines and reduces the chances of your HIV infection becoming resistant to antiretroviral medicines. However, taking this medicine will not prevent you from passing HIV to other people.
