Voglimac 0.3 Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It should be taken just before meals as it lowers the post-meal blood sugar levels. This prevents the long-term complications of diabetes mellitus. Use of Voglimac 0.3 Tablet along with a proper diet and exercise results in better blood sugar control. There is evidence that normal doses of Voglimac 0.3 Tablet do not cause significant weight loss. However, very high doses of this medicine can affect the absorption of food, thereby causing weight loss. Do not take this medication for weight loss as it is not approved for the treatment of obesity. Do consult your doctor before starting this medication.

Q. How should you take Voglimac 0.3 Tablet?

Voglimac 0.3 Tablet is usually prescribed to be taken orally three times daily immediately before each meal. Voglimac 0.3 Tablet may be given along with a controlled diet. However, in case Voglimac 0.3 Tablet does not work alone, it may be given along with a proper diet and other antidiabetic medicines.
