Dementia in Parkinson's disease

Dementia is a term used to describe memory loss and other mental abilities that are severe enough to interfere with daily routine activities. A person diagnosed with Parkinson's disease can observe changes in memory at least a year earlier. The decline in memory is also accompanied with decline in concentration and judgment. This loss of cognitive functions is a common symptom and called as dementia in Parkinson's disease.
