Understanding MRI Brain
What is MRI Brain?
MRI brain is a painless, non-invasive test that produces detailed images of your brain and brainstem. It uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create high-quality images and assists in examining the anatomy of the brain. MRI is a useful tool in detecting several brain conditions such as brain tumors, strokes, hemorrhages, and infections. It can help the doctor to make an early diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan for the patient.
A doctor may prescribe MRI to investigate symptoms such as blurry vision, changes in thinking, and seizures, which could be due to a brain issue.
