USG Head

Ultrasound imaging also called as sonography uses a transducer or a probe to generate sound waves and produce pictures of the bodys internal structures. It is often used to help diagnose unexplained pain, swelling or infection. Ultrasound Head is primarily used for evaluating the internal structures of Head. It may also be used to evaluate conditions related to blood flow. It does not use ionizing radiation, has no known harmful effects, and provides a clear picture of soft tissues that dont show up well on x-ray images. It is a painless, safe and non invasive procedure.
