What is X - Ray Right Shoulder AP & LAT?
The shoulder area comprises the shoulder joint, collar bone, shoulder blade, bone of the upper arm, and the skin and muscles around it. In Anterior-Posterior (AP) projection, X-rays pass from the front to the back of the patient. The lateral view is taken from the patient’s side. An X-ray uses radiation to create a picture of the area. A radiologist will assess the images and send a report. A plain X-ray usually takes 15 minutes. It is a safe and painless technique, as the radiation exposure is minimal.
