Hypertension is clinically high blood pressure. Persistent high arterial blood pressure above 120/80 mm HG is termed as pre-hypertension or hypertension, but the point to be emphasized is that this rise in blood pressure is persistent. Transient increase in BP occurs in stress and anxiety and needs to be treated accordingly.

I'm hypertension person and everyday I have 1 tablet of Telday 40 for last 3 years. Now I feel my pressure sometimes goes high to 155/95 at night time.kindly advice if I ha e to take any higher dose or telday H 40 mg. I don't hv cholesterol nor sugar.

Dear PATIENT to 1mg. I am Anshul Varshney for your help. Hypertension is well treated with appropriate medicines as well as low salt diet with regular exercise. I would recommend you to chart your blood pressure and if the readings are still high like you have mentioned, you would need to increase the dose of Telday H to 80 mg per day.
