Choline + Cyproheptadine is a combination of two medicines: Choline + Cyproheptadine1 and Choline + Cyproheptadine2. Choline + Cyproheptadine1 is a bile acid binding agent. It removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol, as a result, the levels of cholesterol in the body is lowered. Choline + Cyproheptadine2 works by reducing the effect of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the hypothalamus, a part of the brain which regulates appetite.
