Ambroxol + Cefadroxil is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol + Cefadroxil1 and Ambroxol + Cefadroxil2. Ambroxol + Cefadroxil1 is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival. Ambroxol + Cefadroxil2 is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
